The incident took place in Fairfield County around 7:15 p.m., Friday, June 12, in front of a popular Mexican restaurant in New Canaan on Forest Street, said Lt. Jason Ferraro.

According to Ferraro, Travis West, 52, of Darien, allegedly parked his car in front of Tequila Mockingbird, blocking the entire roadway.

West then got out of his vehicle to pick up his food order. At the same time another vehicle approached and was blocked by West's car, Ferraro said.

The driver of the vehicle began honking his horn, as West returned to his vehicle he allegedly went over to the vehicle behind his and began screaming and cursing at the driver and banging his hand on the driver's side window, police said.

West then returned to his vehicle and drove away.

New Canaan Police were able to track down West at his home where he was issued a misdemeanor summons for breach of peace and released on a promise to appear ticket.
